Artists (F) Though inspired by some art that I admired, Both Laine and Noel are fictional characters.
Yale secret society (F) Alas, my depiction is fictional, though I wouldn’t be surprised if such an organization exists. I did come across a spooky, windowless building, bordering Yale campus.
New Haven (R) All the new Haven businesses mentioned are real. Check them out, it’s a great city—including their Pride center for the LBGTQ community with its first official Director being my son, Patrick Dunn (who is also Kiki).
Bookstores (R) Manhattan is blessed with some wonderful independent bookstores throughout its various neighborhoods

Royce’s restaurant, Monterey CA (F) Omar’s family restaurant is fictional but has resemblance to the author’s former restaurant, Royce’s name was penned to honor a great Utah restaurateur, Royce Rosendaal. Who gave the author his first restaurant job.
Pajaro Street Grill (R) Deamer’s former dinner only restaurant. Founded in 1999, enjoying a twenty-year run, two blocks from “Oldtown,” Main Street, Salinas. The birthplace of Chef Omar, who has taken over the web site,
